Salinomycin is a polyether ionophore antibiotic. It exerts anticoccidial effect on most of the Eimaria spp. In poultry (Eimeria acervulina, E. maxima, E. necatrix, E. mivati, E. tenella, E. brunetti) as well as in the other farm animals (E. meleagridis, E. meleagrimitis, E. bovis, etc.). It is active against gram-positive microorganisms, some anaerobes. The mode of action of Salinomycin is based on its ability to form lipophilic complexes, making the cellular membranes of coccidia permeable to alkaline ions. In this way, the intracellular ion concentration in the parasite cells is disturbed and anticoccidial effect of the preparation is achieved. Salinomycin acts on earliest stage of coccidia development hindering the maturity of the schizonts and the development of merozoites.
INDICATIONS:
For prevention and control of coccidiosis in chickens for fattening, replacement layer and breeders up to 16 weeks of age.
DOSAGE: 500 grams per ton of feed (60 gram Salinomycin per ton)
MODE OF ADMINISTRATION:
Must be administered through feed. Once measured the prescribed dose (by a veterinarian) it is essential to ensure the homogenously mixed in the total feed.
CONTRA INDICATIONS:
Avoid simultaneous administration with Tiamulin and monitor for possible adverse effects with concurrent antibiotics. Feed medicated with Salinomycin for chicken should be given to laying hens, turkeys and horses.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD: 5 (five) days after the last administration of the product. *Check with local authorization.
PACKING: 25 kg bag
STORAGE:Store in cool and dry place. Prolonged exposure to light and heat may cause loss of activity.
COMPOSITION:Active drug ingredient: Clopidol 250 gm/ Kg
MODE OF ACTION:Clopidol is a pyridone derivative with powerful anticoccidial activity againstE. tenella, E. necatrix, E. acervulina, E. maxima, E. brunetti, and E. mivati. At cellular level, it inhibits development of sporozoites and trophozoites by inhibiting protozoa (bacteria as well) DNA synthesis by interfering DNA gyrase.
MODE OF ADMINISTRATION: Must be mixed with other ingredients prior feeding. Use 500gm of Clopid-Cox 25% per ton of feed to produce a feed containing 0.0125% clopidol. To aid in even distribution of Clopid-Cox 25% in the finishing feed, prepare a mixture of Clopid-Cox 25% in a portion of complete feed ingredient before mixing into the finished ration. Blend the mixture with the remainder of the finished feed and mix thoroughly.
TARGET SPECIES: Broilers, Breeders and replacement layers till 15th week. Turkeys till 12th week. Recommended to use in shuttle program with ionophore anti-coccidials.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:Chickens: 5 days before slaughter. Do not feed to chickens over 16 weeks of age.
CAUTION:Consult a veterinarian or poultry pathologist if losses exceed 0.5% in a 2-day period.
PACKAGING:25 kg bag
STORAGE:Store in a cool place. Keep bag tightly closed.
Monensin is a polyther antibiotic of the ionophore group. It exerts its anticoccidial effects on Eimeria tenella, E. acervulina, E. mivati, E. brunetti, E. maxima, E. necatrix in chickens, affecting the sporozoites, 1st and 2nd generation merozoites. Its action is connected with the formation of lipophilic complexes with sodium and potassium ions, thus disrupting the ion balance in the parasite finally causing swelling and rupture. It hinders the maturing of the schizonts and the development of merozoites.
INDICATIONS:
For prevention and control of coccidiosis in chickens for fattening, replacement layer and breeders up to 16 weeks of age.
DOSAGE:
500 – 600 grams per ton of feed (100-120 gm monensin per ton)
MODE OF ADMINISTRATION:
Must be administered through feed. Once measured the prescribed dose (by a veterinarian) it is essential to ensure the homogenously mixed in the total feed.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Avoid simultaneous administration with Tiamulin and monitor for possible adverse effects with concurrent antibiotics. Do not feed laying hens producing eggs for human consumption, breeder hens and horses (might be fatal)
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
1 day after the last administration
PACKING-25 kg bag
STORAGE:Store in cool and dry place. Prolonged exposure to light and heat may cause loss of activity.
COMPOSITION: Active Ingredient: Maduramycin Ammonium 10gms /kg
MODE OF ACTION:
Maduramicin is a polyether ionophore antibiotic. It induces an anticoccidial effect on the asexual forms (sporozoites, merozoites and falciform bodies) of the endogenous development of coccidia (Eimeriatenella, E. acervulina, E. mivatti, E brunetti, E. maxima, E. necatrix) in poultry. Its anticoccidial activity is due to the ion imbalance it creates in the parasite.
